MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – Belarus is becoming a more active member of the EU’s Eastern Partnership initiative, Head of the EU Delegation to Belarus Andrea Wiktorin said at a panel discussion during Minsk Forum 2017 on 16 November, BelTA informs.
“We see and, of course, strongly support the fact that Belarus has become much more active in the Eastern Partnership. Here, the interests of foreign political cooperation coincide with the cooperation in politics, security and even economic interests,” said Andrea Wiktorin.
In her words, the European Union welcomes the readiness of the Belarusian government for cooperation and its attention to the current problems in the region.
