MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) views Belarus as one of the world’s friendliest states, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammed Gargash told media after the 3^rd meeting of the joint committee of intergovernmental cooperation between Belarus and the United Arab Emirates on 16 December.

“The United Arab Emirates considers the Republic of Belarus as one of the world’s friendliest countries,” said Anwar Mohammed Gargash.

The Minister of State thanked the Belarusian counterparts for a warm welcome and hospitality, the atmosphere of friendship, sincerity and openness during the bilateral talks. He also invited Belarusian representatives to visit Abu Dhabi next year.

The third meeting of the joint committee on intergovernmental cooperation between Belarus and the United Arab Emirates took place at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 15-16 December. Belarus was represented at the event by Vladimir Makei, the UAE – by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammed Gargash.
