VITEBSK, 18 July (BelTA) – The Directorate of the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk is already receiving applications for participation in the festival next year, Alexander Sidorenko, the festival’s director, President of the World Association of Festivals (WAF), told the media, BelTA has learned.
“Preliminary art and financial results of the festival are more than good. All plans have been implemented. The key things we announced back in February remained unchanged. Participation applications for next year are already arriving into my personal e-mail account and the e-mail account of the festival. Artists know that we start preparing for the festival well in advance,” Alexander Sidorenko noted.
Alexander Sidorenko said he is happy with the way this year's programs in the Summer Amphitheater went. “They were different, catering to different audiences. The venue seats more than 6,000 people and this obliges us to get the demand from the public right,” the director of Slavianski Bazaar noted.
