SEOUL, 28 May (BelTA) - The government of the Republic of Korea will increase investment in the Belarusian economy, Seong In Kim, Executive Vice President at the Korea Foundation, told BelTA.
“With regard to cooperation with Belarus, the Korean government intends to increase investment. We also seek more active Belarusian-Korean ties in the field of information and communication technologies,” he said. The Korean side believes Belarus has created good conditions for the development of this sector.
He also drew attention to the need for mutual diversification of supplies. “We should diversify the range of products we supply each other. There is a great potential for this,” Seong In Kim believes.
Set up in 1991, the Korea Foundation is a non-profit organization of public diplomacy to promote better understanding of Korea within the international community.
