ISLAMABAD, 5 October (BelTA) – Pakistan seeks to develop friendly relations with Belarus based on the principles of mutual trust and cooperation, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said after the meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on 5 October, BelTA has learned.
“Our approaches to the development of bilateral relations have not changed since our previous meetings. I have grown even more confident in the sincere intent of our Pakistani partners to develop friendly relations with Minsk based on the principles of mutual trust and cooperation,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian head of state noted that Pakistan is going through challenging times, especially with respect to the relations with its neighbors.
“You know that our country and I are committed to mutually beneficial cooperation with neighbors. We wish you peace,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
