MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – The Union State common information space is well-structured and has been actively developing, Belarus’ Information Minister Alexander Karlyukevich told a press conference in Minsk on 2 April, BelTA has learned.

The appearance of the Union State media Soyuz and Soyuznoye Veche testifies to the fact. The BelRos television channel has been actively developing. It has many new programs. This project has a good future, the minister said. The Belarusian-Russian theme is widely represented on Belarus 24.

Alexander Karlyukevich noted that it would be great for new technologies to be widely involved in the development of the information space and the creation of new projects in social networks, in addition to those projects that there are on paper and television. “It is very important that information communications develop at the level of regions. This will attract a wider readership, more listeners and viewers to the themes of Belarus-Russia integration,” the minister said.

State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota added that the issue of developing a unified information space is inexhaustible. According to him, it can never be said that everything has already been done. What has been done is the result of a huge amount of work that needs to be cherished and developed. But there is still a large unreached audience, and we should strive to expand the audience that would know about the existence of Union State media.
