MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – The Minsk International Film Festival Listapad is a holiday for cinema fans, Belarus’ Culture Minister Yuri Bondar told the media at the opening ceremony of the 24th edition of the forum on 3 November, BelTA has learned.
According to the minister, more than Br670,000 was allocated to the organization of the film forum. The budget of the festival includes the funds of the Culture Ministry (Br300,000), Minsk City Hall (Br230,000) and sponsors’ resources (Br142,000). It is a good example of public-private partnership, which should be further developed, Yuri Bondar said.
The culture minister plans to attend many film screenings of the festival. Among them is Arrhythmia, the favorite at the Listapad 2017, and also the film almanac titled We, which includes debut works of the Belarusian filmmakers.
