MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – Oman is interested in the development of bilateral relations with Belarus, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oman Saeed Al Kiyumi said as he met with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 19 September, BelTA has learned.
Saeed Al Kiyumi thanked the President for the meeting. “This meeting proves that the leadership of our state is interested in the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in trade,” he stressed.
The chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry noted that the delegation of Oman which is on a visit to Belarus includes about 40 representatives of the country’s business circles. These are the most influential businessmen working in various sectors of the economy.
“This business delegation has the biggest number of members representing various sectors of the economy. It is an honor for us to visit friendly Belarus,” Saeed Al Kiyumi remarked. “As the members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we are not waiting for opportunities, we are doing our best to find or create them.”
