MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ Economy Ministry will keep the GDP growth forecast at no less than 3.5%, Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi told the media, BelTA has learned.
“The economic development forecast was approved by the president's decree. The government will not revise the 3.5% growth forecast,” Dmitry Krutoi noted.
Today the economic growth is above the projected level. However, there are certain issues in the work of agriculture due to bad weather. “The government will make some adjustments by sectors. But in general we are not planning to revise the forecast,” the minister said.
As it was reported earlier, Belarus' GDP expanded by 3.7% in January-September 2018 as against the same period a year prior.
