MINSK, 30 October (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as the country celebrates Republic Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“With its rich history and spiritual legacy, Turkey has made serious achievements in all aspects of state construction. Today it is an economically and politically strong country, an acknowledged leader in the region,” the message of greetings reads.

Alexander Lukashenko remarked that Belarus views the Turkish Republic as a reliable friend and partner. “We will do our best to promote dynamic and productive cooperation relying on mutual respect and trust,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
