MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – The main objective for the Belarusian government in the economy is to take care of people, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the session held on 3 December to discuss the social and economic development of the country, BelTA informs.
According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, in spite of the unprecedented external pressure the country managed to keep economic growth and to prevent the majority of issues from affecting people’s lives.
“This is the main objective. Regardless of any sanctions and pressure, regardless of everything they are trying to do with us, we must take such measures to prevent these sanctions from affecting people’s lives. At least, these external sanctions should not determine people’s lives. Please remember that this is a priority,” the president stressed.
