MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) – The coronavirus response must be systemic and carried out on all fronts, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a meeting to discuss the measures to counter the spread of viral infections, BelTA has learned.
"Our action against the disease should be systemic and carried out on all fronts - medical, organizational, economic and even political," the head of state said.
"Don't leave people one-on-one with a flow of fake news and misconceptions. Keep in touch with the public through mass media and inform them about the epidemic situation in the country and the measures taken. Answer the questions that people raise and meet with them," the Belarusian leader instructed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the topics on the agenda of this meeting will remain a priority until the danger passes or at least decreases to the minimum acceptable level.
"There is no reason to panic. Absolutely not! We are going to provide assistance to everyone who needs it. All those who can be saved by possible and impossible methods will be saved," the head of state added.
