MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) - Belarus will never be a venue for an attack on any state, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he talked to the media at polling station No.1 on 11 October, BelTA informs.
Alexander Lukashenko reminded journalists that he had repeatedly said this.
The Belarusian head of state noted he answered a similar question at his meeting with Alexander Turchinov when he was acting President of Ukraine. “I have nothing to hide. Belarus will never be used as a venue for an attack on any state. Remember it! Never!” said the Belarusian leader. “Did we keep our promise? Yes, we did,” the President of Belarus stressed.
There will be peace in Ukraine soon, and this question will be irrelevant, Alexander Lukashenko believes. In his words, it pertains not only to Ukraine.
“However, God help those who will decide to approach our borders with weapons,” the Belarusian head of state added.
