MINSK, 26 September (BelTA) – Belarus and the United Kingdom can cooperate in the electric transport sector, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with Alan Duncan, Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, on 26 September, BelTA has learned.
Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that the United Kingdom has made a very interesting decision to ban the sale and use of diesel and petrol cars from a certain year. “I welcome and salute this decision. We have decided to follow your example. We are looking for the most progressive partners in this area,” the head of state said.
“Let’s try to work together in Belarus,” the president said.
