MINSK, 4 March (BelTA) - In their cooperation, Belarus and Kazakhstan can tackle not only sanctions but also any other obstacles, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Belarus Yerlan Baizhanov in Minsk on 4 March, BelTA has learned.
The head of state stated that the situation in the world is not easy. "This has an impact on us, Kazakhstan and Belarus, and our relations. Especially the threats of sanctions from the West. But we are cooperating and must find areas of our cooperation that will not create problems for Kazakhstan. You should know that we are ready to cooperate with you in all areas of interest to your state. Therefore, I don't see any big problems here," the Belarusian leader said.
"If we move forward in the areas that are of interest to Belarus and Kazakhstan, we can overcome not only sanctions but also any barriers and obstacles," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
