BEIJING, 1 March (BelTA) - Relations between China and Belarus are built on the basis of cooperation and mutual benefit, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang said during a meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.
"Our relations are built on the basis of cooperation and mutual benefit. Our relations have very broad prospects for development," he said. "I am sure that Chinese-Belarusian relations are developing on the basis of long-term friendship."
The meeting took place in the Great Hall of the People, the seat of the Parliament of the People's Republic of China, located in the western part of Tiananmen Square. Official meetings and receptions, meetings and congresses are traditionally held here.
