MINSK, 4 July (BelTA) - Sovereignty, freedom and independence are the main values of people, Head of the Belarusian President Administration Alexander Kosinets said in an interview to the Belarus One TV channel, BelTA has learned.

“When the U.S. representatives came to Vitebsk to assess the extent of the damage done by the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War, 97% of the city was completely destroyed. They said that it was impossible to restore the city and that it should have been built in another place. We have restored the whole country. The Belarusian people, with their peaceful creative labor, secures sovereignty, freedom and independence – our main values,” Alexander Kosinets stressed.
