MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov told reporters about the results of his talks with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 25 September, BelTA informs.
“It was a very good meeting. I wanted to meet and to discuss various things for a long time. Unfortunately, I could not arrive once. And there was a remark about it. I think that today we have found answers to all questions,” Ramzan Kadyrov said.
In his words, the talks were productive, the sides agreed to develop trade and economic cooperation in concrete fields. “The Chechen Republic is one of the most vigorously developing regions in the North Caucasus today. If you want to make a good pilot project in agriculture, tractor manufacturing, it will hold great promise,” Ramzan Kadyrov believes. “We are interested in all existing dimensions because Belarus is showing good results.”
Speaking about the first impressions of the visit to Belarus, the head of the Chechen Republic remarked that Minsk is a clean and beautiful city. “I can feel that it is in good hands. I like to be here,” the stressed.
