Interior Ministry: Situation with illegal migration in Belarus will always be under control
MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) - The situation with illegal migration in Belarus will always be under control, Belarus Deputy Interior Minister Nikolai Melchenko said when speaking at a meeting of the CSTO coordinating council of the heads of the competent authorities on combating illegal migration, BelTA has learned.
According to him, illegal migration has been the subject of discussion in Belarus for many years. Therefore, the situation in the country is under control and will remain such in the future. "There are risks but we are ready for them," said Nikolai Melchenko.
The representative of the Interior Ministry recalled that soon Belarus will pass a law that will allow working with foreign nationals more closely, especially those who plan to come to the country with criminal intentions.
