MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – Belarus-EU partnership priorities are to be adopted in 2018, Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn told reporters following the informal ministerial meeting of the Eastern Partnership member states on 22 June, BelTA has learned.
Johannes Hahn noted that “this agreement will be ready soon”. “We are going to sign it this year,” he said.
The document is expected to boost cooperation between Belarus and the European Union. “In particular, it will help improve economic relations and send a positive signal to European investors. The document will also open up new business opportunities that will consequently create new jobs,” Johannes Hahn added.
