OSTROVETS, 17 February (BelTA) – Future personnel of the Belarusian nuclear power plant (BelNPP) go through a careful selection process, Vladimir Gorin, BelNPP Deputy Chief Engineer for Personnel Training, told Belarusian and foreign journalists on 17 February, BelTA has learned.

“We have been selecting and training of personnel since 2008. We have invited some people from abroad. These are specialists difficult to train over a short period of time. There will be seventy foreign specialists working with us,” Vladimir Gorin said.

Experience of work at foreign nuclear power plants is also considered an advantage. The BelNPP will employ young specialists. Vladimir Gorin pointed out that in Belarus there is a special nuclear personnel training program.

“All applicants undergo a careful selection, including an interview with the head of respective workshop and psycho-physiological tests,” Vladimir Gorin said.
