MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) - Creating comfortable environment for investment and business are among priorities for Belarus, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Nikolai Snopkov said as he attended the Oktyabrsky Economic Forum. A news report about the forum was broadcast by the ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.
The forum participants expressed the view that for Belarus the economic growth is possible primarily through the improvement of the efficiency of manufacturing. In this regard, Nikolai Snopkov said that among the country’s priorities are increasing investment in science and education, ensuring ease and access to financing for small businesses, and creating the internal comfortable environment for investment and business.
For his part, Belarus’ First Deputy economy Minister Alexander Zaborovsky noted: “It is very important that the instruments of our economic policy embrace a sufficient set of countercyclical measures so that in the event of the deterioration of the situation we should have reserves and potential for sustaining the economic growth.”
