China to continue strengthening cooperation with Belarus in education
MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – China will continue strengthening cooperation with Belarus in the education sector, China's Charge d'Affaires to Belarus Luo Zhanhui said at a concert held on 1 February to mark China’s Spring Festival, BelTA informs.
The diplomat stressed that contacts in the education sector is an important part of the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation. The number of Chinese students that receive education in Belarusian educational establishments is on a permanent increase. Today about 2,000 Chinese young people receive education in Belarus. The list of specialties that Chinese students get in Belarus is wide, including musical universities.
Rector of Minsk State Linguistic University Natalia Baranova noted that the Spring Festival, which is China’s New Year, is marked in the university every year. This time the university played host to a concert of Chinese students.
The concert was organized by the education department of China’s Embassy in Belarus and the Chinese Student Union in Belarus.
