Belarus, Vietnam have good foundation for cooperation development
MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – Belarus and Vietnam have a good foundation for the development of cooperation, Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang said during the one-on-one talks with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 27 June, BelTA has learned.
“The things that we have already done are the foundation for the enhancement and expansion of our ties. I am ready to discuss all measures for the deepening of cooperation. It is needed to pay special attention to the development of the trade and economic ties,” Tran Dai Quang said.
The president of Vietnam remarked that Belarus and Vietnam have many-year common history which is also written with blood. “When we were at war for independence, you were with us. We are grateful for it and value it,” he stressed.
The Vietnamese leader added that he is glad to visit this beautiful, heroic and hospitable country and thanked Alexander Lukashenko for the warm welcome on behalf of the entire delegation.
