MINSK, 18 July (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko instructed the Development Bank to strengthen support for small and medium enterprises, Chairman of the Board of the Development Bank Sergei Rumas told media following a meeting with by the head of state, BelTA has learned.
“The new development strategy of the Bank in 2016-2020 will reflect the function of the Bank to support small and medium-sized enterprises. The Development Bank has been instructed to boost support for this segment of the national economy by the head of state,” Sergei Rumas said.
The Chairman of the Board noted that the Development Bank will work both on expanding the line-up of products for small and medium-sized businesses and boosting support for this sector of the economy.
