MINSK, 11 February (BelTA) – Belarus is the best venue for the talks on Ukraine, including in the Normandy format, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Belarus Bruce Bucknell told BelTA.
“In my opinion, Minsk is the best venue for the talks. But everything depends on the results of these talks and now it is too early to make assessments,” the diplomat noted. At the same time, he expressed hope that the negotiations will be a success. According to the Ambassador, relatives of many people in Belarus and Russia live in Ukraine; therefore, it is clear that all the people are concerned about the development of the situation in this country.
