Advancement of Belarusian-Chinese relations praised
MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – Chinese-Belarusian relations are going through the best time in their history. Meng Jianzhu, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China, made the statement on 18 August, BelTA has learned.
“Chinese-Belarusian friendly relations and cooperation are now experiencing the best times in the history of their development,” said Meng Jianzhu. “We believe that interaction between the Belarusian and Chinese nations have very broad prospects. We are confident in even brighter future of our cooperation.”
According to the official, political views of the two countries coincide on the majority of topical items on the international agenda. “We have an unprecedentedly high level of mutual political trust,” he stressed.
Meng Jianzhu said that trade and economic cooperation between the two countries grows stronger all the time. The official described the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone as an exemplary cooperation project. The scale and development pace of the project amaze everyone, he noted.
