MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – The official representative of Belarus at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest ZENA with the song “Like It” will perform 8th in the first semifinal, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belteleradiocompany national broadcaster.
This year the running order of the participants in the semifinals has been, as always, decided by producers of the song contest. According to the organizers, such an approach helps make the show more spectacular from the viewpoint of stage direction.
The first semifinal will take place on 14 May. The running order is as follows: 1. Cyprus, 2. Montenegro, 3. Finland, 4. Poland, 5. Slovenia, 6. the Czech Republic, 7. Hungary, 8. Belarus, 9. Serbia, 10. Belgium, 11. Georgia, 12. Australia, 13. Iceland, 14. Estonia, 15. Portugal, 16. Greece, 17. San Marino.
The second semifinal will be held on 16 May. The countries will perform in the following order: 1. Armenia, 2. Ireland, 3. Moldova, 4. Switzerland, 5. Latvia, 6. Romania, 7. Denmark, 8. Sweden, 9. Austria, 10. Croatia, 11. Malta, 12. Lithuania, 13. Russia, 14. Albania, 15. Norway, 16. the Netherlands, 17. North Macedonia, 18. Azerbaijan.
The final of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Tel Aviv on 18 May. The TV channel Belarus 1 and the international satellite TV channel Belarus 24 will broadcast the show live. Belteleradiocompany is responsible for preparing the participant from Belarus for the Eurovision Song Contest as Belarus' only member of the European Broadcasting Union.
