MINSK, 27 September (BelTA) – The Artists of the 21st Century concert will be held in Minsk on 4 October as part of the 14th edition of the Yuri Bashmet International Music Festival, BelTA learned from artistic director of the festival, Belarusian pianist and conductor Rostislav Krimer.
“Winners of major international contests will perform on the stage of the Upper Town Concert Hall. Guests of the concert will hear virtuoso solo performances of classical music and will get acquainted with young Belarusian musicians who already have impressive records of achievements,” Rostislav Krimer said. “The lineup of the concert includes violinists Eva Bindere from Latvia and Lorenzo Tranquillini from Italy, cellists Sevak Avanesyan from Armenia and Mikhail Radunsky from Belarus, and violists Ruggero Mastrolorenzi from Italy and Aleksandra Ivanova from Belarus.”
The concert has been organized with support of the Italian embassy in Belarus.
The 14th edition of the Yuri Bashmet International Music Festival will run in Minsk from 27 September till 12 October. Musicians from all over the world will perform in the best concert halls of Minsk. The festival will feature stars of classical music, Grammy winners, world premieres, and unusual crossover projects. The festival has been organized with support of the Belarusian Culture Ministry and the Minsk City Hall.
