Xi Jinping’s book on governance of China to be translated into Belarusian

MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – The Governance of China written by China’s President Xi Jinping will be translated into the Belarusian language. A memorandum of cooperation has been concluded during the visit of the China publishers’ delegation to Belarus, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian Information Ministry.

The memorandum was signed by Foreign Languages Press (China) and the Belarusian publishing house Mastatskaya Litaratura. During the talks the parties have reached an agreement to cooperate in information and book publishing.

 The framework of cooperation in publishing between the two countries was laid out in the memorandum of cooperation between the Belarusian Information Ministry and China's State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television as part of the project to translate and publish Chinese and Belarusian classical literary works for the period of 2015-2020. The memorandum was signed on the sidelines of the 22nd Minsk International Book Fair in 2015 where China was the guest of honor.
