MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won two gold, two silver and one bronze medals at the FIS Aerials Europa Cup in Airolo, Switzerland, BelTA has learned.
Sniazhana Drabiankova scored 70.46 points to claim gold. Second was her teammate Yana Yarmashevich (69.16 points). Alexandra Baer from Switzerland placed third with 68.11 points.
On the second competition day Volha Chromova clinched the second gold for Belarus, scoring a total of 74.20 points.
In the men’s event Ihar Drabiankou finished third (90.94 points), behind winner Noe Roth of Switzerland (107.64 points) and silver medalist Nicolas Gygax of Switzerland (95.52 points).
The Belarusian team of Sniazhana Drabiankova, Makar Mitrafanau and Ihar Drabiankou collected silver in the team competitions.
The final FIS Aerials Europa Cup is due in Italy on 31 March.
