The participants represent Georgia, Egypt, Iran, Latvia, Moldova, Russia and other states. According to Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Mikhail Orda, the forum provides a good educational opportunity for young people. “We encourage young people to come to grips with difficult issues. First of all, we teach them to get to the core of issues and to look for out-of-the-box solutions. We teach them to take over responsibility for their own life and get actively involved in the work of their labor collectives,” he said.

The participants of the forum will be offered an extensive and exciting educational program that will include training sessions, master classes, roundtable sessions and meetings with well-known political and cultural figures of Belarus. In the focus will be implementation of the youth policy, on-the-job support for young people, promotion of digital economy and creation of new eco-friendly jobs. The participating young people will be able to share their expertise and knowledge and improve their skills. This event has proved useful over years. Organizers try to upgrade the program of events every year taking into consideration suggestions of young people.

“It is great that the country is so serious about its youth policy. Much attention is paid to identifying and promoting leaders,” Deputy Head of the International Relations Department of the Russian Trade Union of Nuclear Energy and Industry Evgeny Sidorov said. Member of the Regional Commission for Youth of the same trade union Olga Fokina added that the TEMP forum gives an equal limelight to educational and cultural programs.

Participants from Kazakhstan appreciated the warm welcome. According to them, the forum allows communicating the best practices in cooperating with trade unions youth activists.

The forum opened with a discussion. It was attended by top officials of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus and government officials, public figures and business people. Young people will be introduced to Belarusian trade unions, employment and labor laws and social partnership programs.

This year the forum will offer the so-called “regional program”. The forum participants will tour Belarusian industry giants in all the regions of the country. Among them are BelGee, Ivatsevichdrev, and Belshina. The trade unions activists will study labor conditions, perks and benefits for young professionals, apprenticeship programs and advanced training and retraining courses.
