Tokyo 2020: Belarus’ Aliona Dubitskaya advances to shot put final

TOKYO, 30 July (BelTA) – Belarusian shot putter Aliona Dubitskaya has qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics finals with a throw of 18.89m, BelTA has learned.

Chinese athletes Lijiao Gong and Jiayuan Song are leading with their best attempts of 19.46 and 19.23 respectively.

Belarus’ Viyaleta Skvartsova placed 18th in the Women’s Triple Jump (14.05 meters).
