MINSK, 14 February (BelTA) - The Swedish Public Employment Service will continue to cooperate with Belarusian colleagues in 2018, Per Lindberg, a representative of the Swedish Public Employment Service, said at a press conference dedicated to the forecast and trends in the labor market in Minsk in 2018, BelTA has learned.
According to Per Lindberg, the interaction covers six areas. The biggest successes were achieved in the field of forecasting the labor market trends in the capital. This year will see several visits of international experts to Belarus to participate in joint projects.
“We are happy that our cooperation brings results. The Swedish Public Employment Service has extensive experience and is willing to share it. It is a great pleasure for us to work with Belarusian colleagues,” Per Lindberg said.
The project “Improvement of the state employment service of Belarus” is implemented in accordance with the memorandum of understanding signed in May 2015 between the labor, employment and social security committee of the Minsk City Hall and the Swedish Public Employment Service. It aims to develop the labor market forecasting models, to strengthen the cooperation with employers and raise citizens’ awareness.
