MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) - Teams from six countries are taking part in the third Minsk international children's theater festival Kroki (Steps) which opened on 25 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk City Hall.
The Minsk audience will see teams from Belarus, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Azerbaijan.
Although the festival has a short history, it has already gained recognition among children’s and adult audiences. The young actors present projects of various genres and are quite skilled in acting.
The hosts will present two productions. The acting department of Minsk children's choreography school No. 2 will show a show-fantasy after Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass. The children's musical theater Surprise of the Minsk additional education center for children and youth Kontakt will show the We Play Theater production.
The playbill also features the productions by the EsTeR theater studio of the children’s and youth art center Ostankino from Moscow, the children's theater studio Gunay of the Baku children's theater, the Flying Cow theater studio of the Lasnamae hobby school (Estonia), the Knifinsh children's theater of the community center of the town of Tukums, Latvia, and the theater studio of the Vilnius culture center Elementorius.
