Sasnovich into Bad Homburg Open semifinal doubles

MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ Aliaksandra Sasnovich and Tereza Mihalikova of Slovakia reached the Bad Homburg Open semifinal defeating Belarus’ Lidziya Marozava and Kaitlyn Christian of the United States, 4-6, 6-4, 10-3, BelTA has learned.

In the singles opener Aliaksandra Sasnovich lost to France’s Caroline Garcia, 6-2, 3-6, 4-6.

Belarus’ Ilya Ivashka defeated Finland’s Emil Ruusuvuori, 6-4, 6-1, in the Mallorka Open round one, and lost 4-6, 4-6 to world number 6 Stefanos Stistipas of Greece.

The tournaments in Spain and Germany will finish on 25 June.
