MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – The Russian team of Alexander Dedyukhin, Viktor Tretyakov, Eduard Latypov and Alexander Povarnitsyn won the 4x7.5 Junior Men’s Relay, the final event of the 2015 IBU Youth/Junior World Championships in Raubichi, Belarus on 24 February, BelTA has learned.
The Russian team covered the distance in 1:19.59.7 with four spare rounds. The Norwegian team of Andreas Kvam, Henrik Smeby, Aslak Nenseter and Vemund Gurigard got silver finishing 1:12.5 back with five spare rounds. Bronze went to the team of France (Aristide Begue, Felix Cottet Puinel, Emilien Jacquelin and Fabien Claude), 1:22.6 behind the winner, eight spare rounds.
The Belarusian team finished 5th, 2:37.5 back, ten spare rounds. Starter Oleg Litvinsky used only one spare round during his two shooting sessions but was slow on the track to tag 12th, 1.5 minutes behind the leader. Maxim Vorobei took his team into the top ten during his leg to be 6th at the exchange, 1:13.2 back. Viktor Krivko improved the position of the local team to finish 5th.
