MINSK, 18 July (BelTA) – The Eventing FEI Course for Judges, Technical Delegates and Course Designers will be held at the Olympic center in Ratomka as part of the international eventing competition and Belarus’ Eventing Championship on 26-29 July, Chairman of the Belarusian Equestrian Federation Sergei Drazhin said in BelTA’s press center on 18 July.
The participants will discuss changes in rules, assess the performance of athletes, the course track and its safety, look into extraordinary situations. Ratomka will welcome representatives from Bulgaria, the UK, Germany, India, Italy, Russia, Sweden and Estonia.
The course will be held under the auspices of Anne-Mette Binder (the Netherlands), member of the chief jury of the London Olympic Games and the forthcoming FEI World Equestrian Games in Tryon, the United States.
“The Course for Officials is part of the FEI education program to secure a high level in judging and the organization of eventing competitions. The participation in the seminar confirm the qualification of judges and enhance their status. For Belarus the right to host the course is a testimony to high professionalism of our athletes and officials,” Sergei Drazhin said.
The organizers of the international course include the Belarusian Equestrian Sports Federation, the Sports and Tourism Ministry, the National Olympic Equestrian Center in Ratomka.
