MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – Belarusian swimmers continue competing for medals at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, BelTA has learned.
The competition day number six opened with the Men’s 100m Backstroke – S9 preliminary heats. Belarus’ Yahor Shchalkanau clocked the best time of 1:01.32 among all 14 competitors. The final is scheduled in the evening.
Ihar Boki also clocked the best time (2:10.55) in the Men’s 200m Individual Medley – S13 preliminary heats. All the competitors were behind Ihar Boki four seconds and more. The final will take place later on the day.
Anastasiya Zudzilava of Belarus placed 11th among 12 competitors in the Women’s 200m Individual Medley – SM13. The best eight swimmers advanced to the final.
