MINSK, 19 February (BelTA) – The program of the international youth theater forum
М@rt.contact to be held in Mogilev from 21 to 27 March will feature 19 productions, Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee Valery Malashko said during a press conference in Minsk on 19 February, BelTA has learned.Partaking in the jubilee edition of the festival will be theater troupes from ten countries. The program for the seven competition days will be saturated with interesting theatrical performances. The participants of the forum will perform on the stages of the puppet theater, the drama theater, and the Mogilev Concert Hall.
The international youth theater forum was first held in 2006. Its aim is to promote theatrical art and show the best productions for the youth, about the youth, and with the participation of young people. Over the time the festival has become one of the most prominent and anticipated cultural events in Mogilev and in Belarusian theater life in general. Valery Malashko noted that 80% of tickets have already been sold out.
