The Union State event will draw together delegations of artists from across the country, Minsk, and Belarus-Russia Union State: artistic teams, individual performers, applied and visual disabled artists over 18 years of age. The lineup of artists includes winners of national and regional festivals and contests, and also members of delegations invited by the organizers.

The participants will demonstrate their artistic achievements in various nominations: folk, academic, and pop music, sign singing, choreography, instrumental music, poetry, bard songs, and also applied, visual and performance art.

The festival’s program is going to be diverse: each day of the event will be dedicated to a particular topic. For instance, 22 November is the Day of Friendship, 23 and 24 November mark the Day of Belarus and the Day of Russia, respectively. A press conference of the forum participants and organizers is scheduled for 25 November alongside the gala concert Art Without Borders and an awards ceremony.

“The Belarus-Russia Union State holds the festival to preserve the common cultural space, encourage the participation of disabled persons in this process, and form a stable system of Belarus-Russia cooperation in the art of disabled persons,” the ministry said.

The festival was established by the Union State Standing Committee and the culture ministries of Belarus and Russia. The forum is organized by the Mogilev Oblast Center of People’s Art, Cultural and Social Education.
