MINSK, 24 July (BelTA) – The international conference on the role of PPP projects in achieving Sustainable Development Goals and enhancing people’s wellbeing will be held in Minsk on 12 September, BelTA learned from the National Agency of Investment and Privatization.
The event is aimed at sharing international experience and best management practices in the implementation of infrastructure projects and development of a PPP mechanism to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and improve people's lives.
Panel discussions will focus on infrastructure development in the implementation of the Belt and Road concept, the international experience of PPP development in regions and the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals, and also the place of international development institutions and the banking sector in the implementation of PPP projects.
The conference will bring together heads of government bodies, international financial institutions, banks, businessmen, the scientific and academic community, public organizations and associations. The speakers will be international experts who will share the vision of the PPP strategic development and the world's best practices in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, including through PPP projects.
The conference is organized by the National Agency of Investment and Privatization, the Economy Ministry of Belarus and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.
