MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Riga Days will be held in Minsk on 18-21 May, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Minsk City Hall.

The official delegation will be led by Riga Mayor Nils Usakovs. The Riga Days opening ceremony will take place in the concert hall Upper Town on 19 May. Speaking at the event will be Chairman of the Minsk City Council Vasily Panasyuk and Riga Mayor Nils Usakovs. The choir of boys from Riga Music School No.1 featuring Daumants Kalnins will perform after the meeting.

Talks in the Minsk Town Hall and a business meeting in the Minsk City Technopark are slated for 20 May. Nils Usakovs together with Latvian and Belarusian businessmen will plant a tree in the Alley of Honorary Guests at the technopark.

The Riga Yard will open at the Minsk Komarovsky Market on 20 May as well. Chizhovka Arena will host a friendly between the youth ice hockey school Riga and HC Yunost Minsk.
