MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – Minsk is gearing up for the upcoming Georgia culture days, BelTA learned from the Culture Ministry of Belarus.
The cinema days on 31 August will screen the feature film Blind Dates directed by Levan Koguashvili and the short movie Wedding by Mikhail Kobakhidze.
The Georgian culture festival Tbilisoba will be held in the Upper Town of Minsk on 1 September. Retrospective screening of the short movies by Mikhail Kobakhidze in the courtyard of the Monastyrsky Hotel on 1 September will show Wedding, Musician, Umbrella.
Georgia's State Academic Ensemble Erisioni will officially open the culture days in the Palace of Republic in Minsk on 2 September. The exhibition in the lobby lounge of the Palace of he Republic will feature the photos dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the first Georgian Democratic Republic, and also the photos by Belarusian and Georgian artists.
The Georgian delegation will be headed by First Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Mikheil Giorgadze.
