MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) – Over 150 companies from 16 countries will take part in the international fair of tourism services Leisure 2017 in Minsk on 5-8 April, Belarus’ Sports and Tourism Minister Alexander Shamko told a press conference hosted by BelTA on 3 April.
Companies from Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Portugal, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Albania, Italy, Egypt, and Belarus will participate in the fair.
“The number of participants increases every year. The fair is a good platform for travel business professionals to meet, exchange opinions and discuss the strategy to promote the country’s tourism image,” Alexander Shamko said.
The fair will focus on traveling (seasonal recreation, business tours, recreation for children, cruises, educational tours), sightseeing programs, transport services, sport gear, insurance for travelers, sanatoriums, holiday hotels, tourist clubs, hotel services, recreation and sport goods, maps, booklets, and guidebooks. Presentations, roundtable sessions, seminars on the most topical problems of the travel industry will be held as part of the fair.
The event will be organized by the Belarusian national expo center BelExpo in association with the Belarusian Sports and Tourism Ministry. This year’s fair will take place at 14 Pobeditelei Prospekt.
