MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) - The Belarusian capital of Minsk was among the most popular destinations for residents of Russia’s St. Petersburg during the New Year holidays, BelTA learned from Pulkovo Airport.
The airport served a total of 632,000 passengers from 29 December to 8 January. The airline services on domestic routes were used by 534,000 people, those on international routes by 98,000 people. The busiest days were 29 December and 5 January.
“The most popular routes within Russia were Moscow, Kaliningrad, Sochi, Yekaterinburg and Kazan. Among the most popular foreign cities were Istanbul, Dubai, Minsk, Yerevan and Tashkent,” the airport said.
