MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) - Students and cadets of military schools of Belarus and Russia will take part in the 13th international intellectual games tournament “Sword and Shield” due in Minsk on 25-26 November, BelTA learned from the academy.
The event will feature 36 teams from the two countries, in particular from Russia’s Belgorod, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, and Ryazan.
According to the rules of the tournament, each team shall consist of not more than six people under 23 years old. Winners will be determined following two intellectual games: “Whiz Quartet” and “What? Where? When?”.
The Sword and Shield tournament was founded in 2005 by students of the investigation and expert department at the Interior Ministry Academy. Last year, it was recognized the best student tournament over the past 20 years by the Belarusian League of Intellectual Teams.
