Marathon of Unity to debut new events in Orsha

MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – For the first time, the national social and cultural campaign Marathon of Unity will feature an exhibition of military equipment and a military band, BelTA has learned.

Orsha will host the marathon on 6-7 December. As the organizers announced earlier, new events will be added to the program. For instance, the community center in the town of Baran, Orsha District, will play host to a workshop and concert of the Belarusian Military Academy Orchestra on 7 December. It is scheduled to start at 12.00.

Servicemen will also organize several more interesting events for everyone at the Olimpiets sports complex of the Lokomotiv-Orsha Hockey Club (79 Lenina St.). The exhibition of small arms and uniforms, career guidance sites, photo areas and contests prepared by the Military Academy will be of interest to visitors of all ages. Another fascinating area is the exhibition of military equipment of the Belarusian Defense Ministry. The sites will be open from 10.00 to 19.00.

At 15.00, another spectacular event will kick off at the site near the Olimpiets sports complex. For the first time, the Marathon of Unity will host a concert of the Belarusian Military Academy Orchestra.
