MINSK, 25 November (BelTA) – Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro took note of the Belarusian national tourist pavilion as he spoke at the official opening ceremony of the 10th international tourism fair FitVen 2015, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Belarusian national tourist pavilion showcased the information on the country’s tourist potential, specimens of the national culture and architecture, Belarusian nature, history and culture.
During the expo, which was held in the city of Cumana, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Venezuela Oleg Paferov held brief meetings with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Vice-President for the Economy and Finance Rodolfo Marco Torres and Minister of Tourism Marleny Contreras.
