Lukashenko offers condolences over passing of Oleg Tabakov
MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has offered condolences to the family and friends of People’s Artist of USSR Oleg Tabakov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“A very popular artist, talented director and teacher, sincere and charismatic person passed away,” the message of condolences reads.
The head of state remarked that Oleg Tabakov lived a rich creative life and left a bright mark in the history of the Soviet and Russian theater and cinema. “Thanks to his natural charisma, professionalism and a unique acting manner, Oleg Tabakov played hundreds of memorable roles which have become an example of true art. People in Belarus appreciate the creative work of Oleg Tabakov. We will always remember this wonderful person,” the Belarusian president stressed.
